I won’t bear witness to your fall from grace Still I can’t stand to see those lines in your face
All the love we had before No More
You’re 18 years in my rear-view mirror Thought I’d seen a ghost but then you show up here
What you expect what I deplore No More
Sometimes you have to be alone and on your knees To drain the venom from your wounds and find some peace
Our love just could not be endured For sure I’m cured

No More More mandolins! Max Bear is a great musician, self-proclaimed 60's rock archivist and performer and occasional Catamount bass player. His band The Squares play the most ferocious and primal cover sets I've ever seen. We were going to mix this song without percussion but Fetko heard a playback and said "I'll have a go" and laid down a shuffling drum track (with brushes!). I like how the Joy Division bass-line is mixed with all the pseudo-country instrumentation.
